About us
We are an organization formed by memeber of the community of Araque who organize turistic activities in the Araque Aquatic Park. Visitors can enjoy many activities like boat trips, horse ride, traditional food, children's games and a lot of space for their joy. All that is surrounded by an amazing landscape with views to the volcanos Imbabura and Cotacachi. The benefits go directly to the community, as we all are local workers and we contribute to the progress of the park and of the community.
The Aquatic Park is located in the community of Araque, that belongs to the parish of San Pablo del Lago which is only at 10.7 km (10 minutes) to the South from the city of Otavalo. It is placed at 2660 m. over the sea level and the average temperature is about 12°C.
The aquatic park is the suitable place to spend the day with the family, friends, with your couple... It offers many different activities.

A village full of traditions and kind people with unique events and which, due to its geographical situation, is also a good spot to pratice hicking, ciclying, parachuting or fishing among others.
